Save your Sanity! Here’s 5 Essential Tools to help Manage your Online Business

Hey, fellow entrepreneurs! Running an online business can be a freaking handful, I KNOW. As your business grows, it becomes more and more difficult to manage all the different aspects of it. That's where online business managers come in - but even with a good OBM, you need some tools to help manage the chaos. Here are five of my favorite tools and resources for online business management.

You after reading this article, probably.

Project Management Software

First up, project management software. Look, I love the notes app as much as the next person, but when you've got a team of people working on different tasks, you need something a bit more robust. There are tons of project management tools out there, but my favorite is Asana. It's free, easy to use, and lets you organize tasks in a way that makes sense for YOU.

Communication and Collaboration Tools

Next, communication and collaboration tools. In a remote team, you can't just pop over to someone's desk to ask a question. You need tools that allow for real-time communication and collaboration. Slack is the best tool I've found for this. It's like instant messaging on steroids, and lets you create channels for different projects, share files, and integrate with other apps.

Marketing and Sales Automation Tools

Marketing and sales automation tools are a godsend for any entrepreneur who wants to grow their business without working themselves into an early grave. There are tons of options out there, but my favorite is ActiveCampaign. It lets you create email marketing campaigns, automate your sales process, and track customer behavior.

Technical Tools and Resources

Last but not least, technical tools and resources. Unless you're a tech genius (in which case, more power to you), you're going to need some help with website design, coding, and other technical aspects of running an online business. Upwork is a great resource for finding freelance developers, designers, and other tech experts. And if you're looking for a more DIY solution, check out Codecademy - it's a free resource that teaches you how to code.

Conclusion

In conclusion, these five tools and resources are essential for any online business owner who wants to stay sane and grow their business.
